The 1st Regional YCS YSM Convention was a landmark for young people participating, as

amidst a lot of crisis around, young people joining together to talk about something for their

goodness is always considered special.

Participating in the convention has enlightened me and made me realise the true understanding

of the movement, “It’s not I who become part of the movement but the movement to be part of

me". I pray and believe that this step forward may be a great leap in bringing a great change in

many lives. It’s not the end, it’s just the beginning, Future is in the hands of us, Let’s be the

change makers of the modern society.

1. Mr. Alan Lalrinawma, General Secretary of ICYM Northeast and choreographer, artist and one of the pioneer of western dance in the state of Mizoram

2. Mr. Abhishek Bhattacharjee YCS YSM India National Coordinator and has won a Junior Chef Competition in the state of Assam.

3. Miss Anushka teronpi, National Executive Member of YCS YSM India, a news anchor and has won notable Beaty pageants in Karbi anglong District of Assam

4. Mr. Gilbert Chongthu, MCS, a former YCS YSM NEXCO 2013-2016 and a Sub Deputy Commissioner in DC office of Kolasip District, Mizoram

5. Miss Caroline Lalrosangi, former YCS and Present ICYM Leader in Aizawl, a News Reporter in D.D. News Channel, Aizawl

6. Mr. Leo Joseph, Assistant Professor at Loyolla College, Chennai, former YCS YSM India NEXCO, and currently as Advisor of CCBI Youth Commission.
